Tameside league goes 11-Up
In an attenpt to help the juniors of the league the Tameside league has decided to adopt the 11-up scring format that all ETTA and ITTF tournaments are played under.
This is seen locally as a radical step as Tameside is the only local league to adopt the format

Jacques Shield and Daily Mirror Cup Format altered
The Jacques Shield will for the coming season take the format of four indidual divisions. Each team will play every other team in the division with the winner of each division moving to the semi-final of the Jacques Shield and the runner-up moving to the semi-final of the Daily Mirror Cup.
The idea of this change is ensure more games for all league members.
Handicap formats will remain similar to those currently in use.
